anyone tried the reverse odo led mod?

    trd exhaust,step bars,vent visors,bed lights,tailgate mod
    so this changes the background to black,and the numbers to orange?

    I have done it few times not on the tacoma though but on my scion.. theyre pretty much identical being toyota.. its really delicate, patience will get you through.. i did my first one in like 2 hrs, you need to chill when you start to lose patience.. then after you remove the polarizing film you will have to clean the gunk off with a good adhesive remover and be sure not to overspill

    Thanks for the pic. I'm debating if I want to do this because I just have the bulbs in my dash and not leds.

    i have not opened our dash gauge clusters or not sure if its the same w/ 05 up models but I assume we are using surface mounts leds on our gauges.. if you have those bulb types, some white bulbs should pretty much have same result

    I actually like the night time looks, pics dont do justice but they both look good on both night and day... some red lights on reverse lcd looks nice too.. im pretty sure it can be done on our radio too
