I'm tempted to buy a set of
    Spider PRO-YD-TT12-LBDRL-BK
And install two hid projector hids

Just looking for advice on this mod. I've been wanting to do a retro for a year now and didn't know if this double hid is possible or worth the extra $375image.jpg

The problem with separate HID lights for high & low beam is that HIDs take some time to warm up to full output. You really wouldn't be able to flash the high beams if needed with that setup. Same problem exists on single HIDs with the moveable shield. There's light output but not at full brightness. Using projector style aftermarket headlights may be more work as many have the projector bowl made of plastic molded into the inner housing which you probably would have to cut away (I had to on my past conversion). It ends up being a lot more work and fabrication of mounting brackets to hold the metal HID projectors in place. I used Morimotos in my conversion with separate high beams and wired the HID high beam shields to operate with the regular high beam bulbs. I had a lot more light with that set up.

I was thinking about making the low beam stay on with the highs so no delay would effect my driving. Seeing how I'd have 4 separate projectors. With stock lens a side by side mount wouldn't work but after seeing this light it got me thinking if this is possible. I'm sure some relays would be needed so I don't overload headlight circuit.

I really don't know anything about hid projectors but the way you describe your setup is how I'd like to do mine. Just adding a second set within housings
