    These go on top of the existing trim. The double sided tape hold really well, so I wouldn’t worry about it.

    I have another variation, different company, but same thing. In carbon fiber. It fits good, doesn’t add a lot of bulk or anything.

    I briefly got my hopes up it was a replacement piece and not an overlay. The carbon piece could be cheesy fun for a few months but I wouldn’t adhere anything to my stock piece and risk long term damage.

    You are NOT alone on this… I am a woodworker and I love wood.

    I was actually looking for EXACT SAME product but on Ali express.

    if the food grain is nicely done and it is matte finish I think it would look really good.

    Many new cars are going back to wood grain now and I love it.

    so again, op you are not alone on this haha..
