I have one with my mini garmin also. Now can we talk about the pool float storage system you’ve got back there?!

:D:rofl: The big blue donut. We got that for our grandkids to use to snow tube down our hill. It's been there for years and we just never seem to deflate it.

Nah it’s good stuff. They had a small problem initially and fixed it.

I haven’t had any problems with mine. I have it set up to only power the dashcam when the vehicle is running

It’s amazing it hasn’t deflated itself. Could’ve used one of those last time we went sledding. We shredded 4 plastic sleds on the ice this winter

Love mine! I'm a huge nay-sayer for cords and cables, and just didn't feel like running anything through the headliner.

I think the only downfall is that it doesn't provide power at all times, so no parking monitoring, but it covers my needs fine.

Edit to add that I use an Anker Roav for my dashcam, in case anyone was curious.

    Double edit like a ninja:

Same for '21 OR - no full-time power for me.

Link? Pics? or Shenanigans? I find it hard to believe that a 12 pin > USB adapter is going to fry anything.

Just got my Homelink Mirror today, says I need to remove the console above to install and hide the wires properly. How easy is to remove the console?

Not sure if you mean the plastic piece with your sensors and wiring on the windshield, but if so, it comes off pretty easily. Actually did it on accident mounting my dash cam. But it pops back in place pretty easily, as well. I had to pull down parallel to the direction of the windshield, and back up the same way. Looked like two main clips in place at the top, and the bottom sits in place accordingly.

If you mean main console where lights and the like are, I'm not the one to ask.

The overhead console just pulls down with some force (at least on 3rd gen) There are a few clips holding it in the headliner. Maybe youtube it first. It feels like your going to break something the first time.

Just a word of caution for anyone purchasing, and the OP - for any cameras that use infrared cameras for night shots (seems to mostly be relevant for interior-facing cameras), the infrared CAN interfere with the auto-dimming feature in the rearview mirror.

Mine is set up just below the mirror, and I PERSONALLY have not seen any issues, even at night with the dimming feature working, however, I have read plenty of this occurring, and figured I'd provide the word of caution to you all.
