I ended up thinking the same thing and decided to put my order in for the older style bumper.
Lead time says 15-20 days after purchase. I'm on day 26 now and still no word on when it will ship.
Hopefully soon, I'll be out of the country for a while in July and was really hoping this bumper would arrive before I left.

@monkeyevil, any word on production times for the original-design bumpers? Also, I wanted to look over the instruction manual before it arrived but didn't see it on your website. Any way I can get that?

Quick update. I'm on day 32 now. Customer service said their laser machine went down and they are behind on orders. Estimated to ship in about 10 days "if everything goes smoothly and we don't have any setbacks". I'll be out of the country by then. All well, guess I should have ordered sooner. Still very excited to install the bumper and see the excellent workmanship I keep hearing about.

Will be going with their products in the future. Really like their 3rd gen stuff. Especially the new Blitz sliders!

Nothing but great things to say about Victory 4x4! I have their mk1 sliders (mk2 more recently released) and they likely saved my truck from getting totaled in an accident. Well worth the investment protecting your truck, and even at that they were a great price and IMO great style too, nice and low profile but still affording protection in all the right places. I'd definitely run their bumpers too knowing what I know now about the quality of their products!

So sorry about the delay on that order! Yes, our laser was down for a week+. We do have a high definition plasma as a backup, but the cut quality isn't as nice as the laser, so we try and only do skids and misc stuff on that when the laser goes down. So unfortunately the bumpers will backlog a little when that happens. I do know that we are back up and running as of yesterday I think.

Once again, apologize for the delay and thanks for your patience!

Oh, on the manual. Install video is here:

We are in the process of finishing up all the written instructions, let me see if that one has been approved and get it online for you

I'm on day 58 now and bumper has still not shipped, called today and they said it should be completed in about 10 days. Of course, that is the same thing I was told 26 days ago. This is a far-cry from the 20 day lead time I was quoted at...:tumbleweed:

I just got my bumper installed with the Victory4x4 rack. Looks clean and fits nice on the truck. Really happy with it! The lead time was less than 2 months.

Looks great! Sorry about the longer wait on that! We usually are right around 15-20 business days to ship.

    Quick update:

After a long wait, I can say that this bumper is more than worth it. It looks great and I couldn’t be happier with the new aesthetic it provides.

Great work from the victory4x4 team!

Can’t wait for a high clearance rear bumper.

Looks great! Sorry about the wait! We had some new equipment being installed that put our lead times a couple of weeks longer than usual the past couple months, but we are catching up very quickly now that everything is up and running

For those with the bumper with the logo in front, have you noticed shadows with the lightbar? I sent them an email and all they stock is the new type...

I originally wanted the bumper without the logo as well. That being said I really didn’t notice a drastic change in light output. Most light bars now days have enough output to fill a trail even if a small portion are covered. I have a light bar with individual lights instead of an led array. With a full 2 lights blocked I still have no problems with visibility.

Anyone running their rear bumper on a 2nd gen? They have pics on their site of the rear bump on a silver taco but I'd like to see pics of what it looks like mounted on a darker colored Taco (preferably black).

Anyone have a photo of a 2nd Gen with victory’s front bumper and front skid plate? Curious to see how the the two line up.
