I've been sitting on a Transgo reprogramming kit for years and simply don't trust myself to DIY install that.

There is a trans shop Frank over at South Bay 4x4 recommended, Only Trans, but are they good to go on this? Not really getting a warm fuzzy when stopping there to get the seal looked at and some googling.

Was planning to take the truck to GP1 Transmission for the transgo install (and maybe even a full rebuild with better clutch packs). GP1 did an awesome job on the cohabitant's IS250, a notoriously bad and expensive trans to fix but Only Transmissions is much closer to me.

    Dang, no replies?

Are there any transmission shops any here recommends in the south bay?
