My fiance needs a new phone and she wants a Blackberry for some reason. She was looking at the Torch and Curve 3g. I don't have any experience with either and was looking for some opinions on either.

She hates touch screens and won't even consider an iPhone. I have a Blackberry Bold for work and hate it because I like the touch screens and hate the small buttons on the BB. Anything really bug you about either of these phones or things to be aware of before buying?

I bought a torch.... I've had it for a year almost.

    IT SUCKS.

The trackpad on it goes crazy when you get it out in the sunlight after you've had it for a while. this is pretty common with most blackberries.
Also, there aren't really any apps that are worth a sheet for BB's. Seriously... NONE.
I would advise iPhone or any Android phone.
    Stay away from Blackberry.

All of that being said I really do like the keyboard, and if she feels like she just HAS to have one I'd say the Curve would be your best bet. Blackberry sucks at making touch-screen phones. They just haven't figured it out yet.
