Anyone use the Hopkins Plug-N-Tow?

It's a plug and tow with no need to run a wire from the battery. Does anyone have it? If so, how are you liking it?

I've got the Tow Package in my Tacoma, but I want to add another 4 pin receptical. I dont like the flat plugs, and I can hitch my boat to the 3500 or the Tacoma. So the plug I have is the Dual 7 pin and 4 pin flat. http://www.hopkinstowingsolutions.c...-blade-and-4-flat-replacement-wo-bracket.html

These work fine. Make sure to tuck it way up and wrap it when not in use. These tend to get chewed up during normal driving.

Easy to install too.

Check Your Plugs before you purchase the Hopkins plug and play #33355. Went to install the harness that I linked to, after I installed the Pollak 4 pin round receptical, and the plugs are not the same. In fact the only plugs on the truck wire loom is where they plug into the light sockets. What a waist of money, Hopkins confirmed to me over the phone that it fits the 2016 Tacoma. The only difference maybe that the factory tow package changes the loom to accommodate the 7/4 pin receptical on the bumper. I now have a Plug and play loom for sale if anyone wants to save some money, just PM me if interested.

 

I ran into the same problem. It is confirmed in multiple spots on etrailer that it will work but doesn't.
