I use my short bed to its max, but I can fit everything that I could fit in my 2nd gen long bed. The truck does great driving through corn fields due to being light, I putt around while my friends are burying their HD trucks. Here’s all that I can fit in a short bed..2 dozen full body geese, 2 dozen full body mallards, a big bag of various duck and goose shell decoys, a tote of silhouette decoys, all stands and blind bags and all that nonsense, and 3-4 layout blinds. Kind looks like Beverly hillbillies in the short bed, I need a trailer haha

Those are some pretty ducks. Do you use a dog when hunting?

Not a hunter here but a trapper --big time, 56 trapping seasons. This will be my Tacomas 1st season.
The truck will get good use continually from November through March. I think it will do fine!
