Ive been looking for fox reservoir shocks that provide 2" of lift but they dont make anything specifically for an 02' tacoma.
One of the tech guys at Fox told me i would have to get creative. He recommended a universal shock pt# 985-24-051 its a 2" body remote reservoir shocks that require hourglass bushings to work w/ my truck.
I was also told by Fox that these are for 1/2 ton trucks. My truck i a double cab weighing in at just under 4,000lbs. A single cab f150 from 02' weighs in at 5,400 lbs. I have no experience with Fox shocks and am very concerned they will be too stiff.
Should i use them or return them for something else?

you can basically use any shock on any car as long as your able to mount it. once you've figured out how to mount it and cycled your suspension then it all comes down to valving. you can get them revalved to fit your need based on the weight of the truck and your driving need. call up downsouthmotorsports theyll anwser any questions you have in terms of valving and get you set up
