Anyone powdercoat or derp their wheels in bronze or any other color than matte black? Thinking of picking up a set and derping them gunmetal or bronze.

I'm in the Seattle area...will let you know if I pull the trigger.

I feel like we are the exception... I love the look of the OR wheels and they are wicked easy to keep clean and wash off after getting muddy!

$110 per wheel so $440 for everything. Sandblast and prep included.

Those look awesome. Does powdercoating add any weight? I might do mine in matte gray when I get new tires.

For what it's worth, I know these are a few lbs heavier than the stock TRD sport 17's, but I'm through two tanks of gas in mixed driving and have noticed no impact on my MPG.

That's a good question. They do blast off a clear coat in the process of adding the coating. I'm sure there's a net gain but it has to be almost negligable. I logged 21.1 mpg on my trip there and back. With the TRD Pro wheels I got 20.2 mpg round trip. It's a 50 mile round trip for me too so decent sample size.

I purchased these with the intention of having them powder coated. After putting them on the truck, decided to run them as-is for a while and see if the current finish grows on me. They look great though in matte black.
