I rub with 275/70 R17 only at full lock with either front corner compressed. Does not rub on my mud flaps

completely stock. the minor rubbing is a small sacrifice for the size of the tire

I came very close to buying the 275's because they are cheaper than the 265's. I just didn't want the added 11 pounds per tire weight of the E rated tires. If they came in C or D I would have bought them.

I would, but the truck's covered in mud so you cant see anything. As far as I can tell, it barely rubs on the fender liner, towards the front of the bumper. you could just heat it up with a heat gun and push it in a bit and you'll clear

I personally dont really feel the weight of the tire. I still get really good mileage

I believe it. My 265's had no affect on mpg and they are 10 pounds heavier than stock tires. Just don't need E tires on my rwd street truck.

OK, got the wheels. Tires and new TPMS sensors are inbound, but I'm confused on what I need to do to make the TPMS sensors work. Do I just hit the TPMS reset button, or does it need to be programmed for the new sensors? If the latter, where to get the programming done? Tires are coming in to Sam's Club.

Call around and get quotes from firestone, merchants, the dealer, and get the best price. Even sears has the tool to program them to your vehicle. Just get the best price first. Might help to write down the numbers off each one just in case they need them. I suggest getting all mounted balanced and programmed in one shop for convenience. And you can always not program them immediately. You just have to see the yellow tire warning light in the meantime.
