I'm considering purchasing a Quick Jack mostly for my LS400 but to further rationalize it I'd like to be able to use it for my '04 4x4 Tacoma as well.

Per the FSM the forward support points are on the frame just forward of the crossmember. The aft support points are the rear axle just outside the diff. Quick Jack also sells a cross member for vehicles whose support points aren't in line but that won't work because the diff, of course, extends below the axle and therefore obstruct the cross member. Could likely stack some blocks, etc... to overcome that issue but the more stacking = the more sketchy to me.

Looks like I could set it up to support at the forward support points (frame just forward of the cross member) and support the aft end on the frame just forward of the leaf springs. That set up would pretty much be in a straight line but that puts the aft support points quite a ways forward of where the FSM says to support. Not sure about weight distribution in that case with the whole weight of the truck on the Quick Jack versus just jacking up one wheel and supporting in that spot. Anyone using one successfully?

I searched the 1st Gen forum and found no mention of Quick Jack. I find that hard to believe so my search skills must be lacking.
