    Hello,

I am still looking for a bedrack solution. Requirements below. Before I get to them, I would like to know if anyone is using the Thule Xsporter Pro with the factory tonneau cover?

Obviously you can't use them at the same time, but I swung by REI yesterday and borrowed one of the brackets to see how it might work. It appears with the rubber pad and possibly light dremeling, the brackets would go on without having to remove all of the OEM tonneau cover posts.

Has anyone here done this? Pictures of your install?

    Bedrack requirements:
    1. Integrated locks to prevent theft. Or easily locked down.
    2. Easy on and off
    3. Adjustable height preferred. Main requirement is kayak load so the height must achieve cab level.
    4. Crossbars must be Yakima J-low compatible.
    5. Light weight and easy to assemble
    6. Matte black preferred.
I had clip on cross bars on the cab of my previous truck. Avoiding roof top this time.

Ideas and suggestions? I actually have a design I haven't seen in mind but I would need to patent it first before disclosing the idea. I'd much rather buy something off the shelf. Help!

My other option is to remove all the posts, get new bed top rails, and sell the tonneau cover. I would rather not do that. I'd like to use the cover from time to time.

Found the answer in another thread. You can't have both. Using the Xsporter requires removal of the tonneau pegs.
