Anyone using these in their truck bed?

    Mounting the hi-lift to the tracks wouldn't be too difficult. Core Trax makes what they call utility locks:

    The website says that they leave 1" of usable thread after installation. Not likely to be enough to mount the hi-lift directly onto them but they're definitely a stepping stone to making something that will work. I have used the utility locks for making bike mounts and they worked pretty well:

    I don't think I'd trust the bed rail lip to support the weight of a hi-lift without failing, especially if you spend lots of time off pavement.
