Well, I guess a Moose IS an ''animal.'' It's just a bit different then hitting, say, a squirrel.

That alone makes me want to pay more for this than a new 3rd Gen.

Sometimes tongue in cheek doesn't carry well in text, you need the facial expressions to back it up. I meant that the ebay listing is funny AND sad at the same time. Perhaps thoughts too deep for a Friday morning snow day here in ole Eastern NC :)

Just because it has a branded title doesn't mean it's a bad rig. I've bought multiple trucks/cars that were wrecked and fixed them, and they were in at least as good of condition as similar used vehicles. The Colorado I had before my Taco was wrecked BAD when I bought it and after the rebuild I drove that thing for almost 100k miles without a hiccup and then sold it for what I put into it. It hurts your resale value, but you also steal them on the front end so who cares. He's definitely asking too much money, but it's listed on Ebay so if it sells it's because someone bought it site unseen because it's the exact truck they were looking for. And this dude is going to make a killing because he already got paid by his insurance before buying it back and fixing it.

Now if anyone has a pile of cash laying around that they want to double, you should be buying up flood cars at auction out of Houston with zero miles on them that were "totaled" sitting on dealership lots. See you at the party.

That listing screams "warning" from the first word. after all these years the ebay people still have not changed......actually they have gotten worse. here i have a pair of amazing hiking boots that i glued back together with gorilla-glue (true story) i will sell them for the same price a new pair cost. but the glue is turbo-spec and it makes them hike better!!

I’ve seen ads by Toyota dealers in our area stating the Tacoma is a TRD and the interior pics show the absence of the locker button. But the bed has TRD emblems so it must be true right. I actually got into a little argument with this dealer when I informed them their ad was wrong. Told them my base model must be TRD due to the bronze TRD wheels I run.

Reminds me of our recent experience with Yeti tumblers/ramblers. My wife bought a couple from an online retailer for Christmas and only recently did we notice something was off. They just FEEL light. Everything looks exactly the same, packaging, sticker and pamphlet inside, etc, etc, but they weigh a couple ounces less. The rip-off geniuses in China just made them out of thinner stainless steel, you can push your thumb into them and they give. They copied the packaging down to the pixel. When I saw the website she ordered from I laughed and knew it immediately. Another great reason to buy stuff with credit cards that offer fraud protection.
