Well pretty simple question. I'm hoping to do Flathead pass through the Northern Bridgers sometime this week or next. Wondering if anyone has any experience with the trail or wants to come? My truck is stock height, and lacks any armor. However I've heard Subys can get pretty far, so I think ill be alright. If someone wants to do another trail around Bozeman I would be down for that. I'm just looking for something more difficult than old FS roads.

reviving an old thread haha.. Just trying to see how much activity there is around Bozeman. I may be heading to MSU in the fall. Are there a lot of places to go offroading/truck camping up in the mountains?

Ha nice. Lots of places and forest service roads to drive. Probably more than you could explore during 4 years at MSU. Good luck!

Keeping it pretty stock w/ creature comforts to come in the future.
hey, checking in here, raising the dead.... totally stock, by myself want to take the dog for a drive. Any suggestions for getting in some dirt around the BOZ? Where can I find more info on getting off the beaten path?

Been a while, but went through there a couple of times leading a passel of road bikes. They were all grumbling about the dirt in the end, but no one hurt.
