I’m curious if anyone has the 5100 shocks front at 0 setting and back at 0 or 1, OME 885, no aal, and stock tire size 265/65R-17.

I’m wanting to get a lift but more for the leveling than off roading. I don’t do much hauling so the extra leaf isn’t really that important for me unless it’s needed. I recently got Michelin LTX AT2 and don’t want to get rid of them right away because the lift makes them look tiny.

Appreciate any advice and pictures you all might have!

Yep, ride was definitely better than stock shocks.

Did you have the rear at 0 or 1?

Ok so you had the aal in the rear, I was hoping to avoid doing unless it was absolutely necessary and just using the setting on the rear shock.

Rear shocks don’t adjust. They are just regular old shocks. If you want lift in the rear you have to go with add a leaf or a block.

Ok, the details I read said “rear lifted height 0-1” so thought they had adjustable settings too.

That’s just how much they can deal with. Over 1” and they start to top out.

Besides the added lift, what else do I get from the aal?

And I’m thinking correct in going this route for the leveling vs doing a leveling kit? Seen where some folks have had issues.

That pic was minutes after install. After a week it settled and was almost totally equal.

A rougher ride. If you are just looking to level I would skip it.

Look bro. The 5100 and OME coils is an expensive ass lift with zero quality ride. I went with 3rd gen TRD Off Road coils, and 1" lift spacer from eBay. I was given the coils, and only paid $30 for the spacer. It rides identically the same as the 5100 OME set up for 1/10th of the price.

You can slap on a 1" block in the rear to get the full 2/1 lift, and call it a day.

You could go with 884 instead of 885 if you're worried about bro lean and don't want to install an AAL.

I have an AC. Went with 5100s front and back, 883s up front. No lift in the back but have bags and cradles. I ended up with about 1" of rake. It looks way closer to level than stock and the 883/5100 combo is much better IMO than the TRD OR combo.
