Anyone with a ScanGauge II - What's your TPS value at WOT?

I recently mounted my old ScanGauge II in my 3G. When I had my 2G I used it to do MPG and transmission temp, along with voltage and coolant temperature. Since my 3G is manual and has the MPG readout in the cluster I decided to look at IAT and TPS.

Now, without going down the rabbit hole, I never cared for the power delivery on the truck, but it only seemed to be annoying in more aggressive driving, so I've just ignored it. However today I decided to watch my TPS value going onto the highway and found something peculiar. When I went WOT the indicated value only got up to anywhere between 44-49 depending on the gear I was in. I had completed matted it and the truck had plenty of pickup, but it wasn't exactly linear either, which isn't surprising to me. Sometimes it is, sometimes it isn't.

The truck typically indicates anywhere from 15-19 at idle and anywhere between 19-26 in normal driving around town.

If that value is a setting based on 100% of range, I would expect I should be able to see more than 49% of range. Do I have a setting wrong in the ScanGauge, or is it reality? If I sit with the truck off / ignition in run, I can communicate with the ScanGauge but not display the TPS value (can't change it by depressing the gas pedal).

    Any thoughts?

EDIT: I have done some additional reading on the older trucks and am finding that people report their ScanGauge going to 70-75%, so maybe it is a function of the reader and the truck and not necessarily something wrong.

That being said, what I'm hoping is someone with a 3G and a ScanGauge can chime in that they're seeing the exact same thing as me.

I have one and have not paid close attention to the tps readouts very much. But from what I can recall seeing on mine, it's exactly as yours is reading. I cant help very much other than that as I am not the best with what it all means.
I can only assume that my throttle position is only opening 40 to 50 percent instead of 70 to 75 percent as on older generation.
Therefore the fuel rate is different for engine output.

Bump. Curious if anyone has come up with an update for the Throttle Position Sensor readout more accurate on the ScanGauge II does the newer SanGauges/firmware revision show the TPS position more accurately?

Not likely, I'll check on the way home.. but TPS through the scanguage is almost always suspect.
For a lot of these scanguage questions the hypermiling forums are quite helpful..
