Looking at some Info on the truxedo on 3g trucks. I've searched the forum as well as reached out to Dealers with no answer.
Looking to see what outside width is. Widest points.
Also looking to see if the is room for 3/16 spacer between topper and bed rail.
Pics of info would be great. Appreciate ya.

I have a truxedo on my truck, but I’m not quite sure what you’re asking.

The system is essentially a piece of angle iron that rests on the bed rail—not sure if there’s room for a spacer with how it bolts on. There’s maybe a 1.5-2 inch strip of exposed bedrail still exposed after installation.

I'm trying to see two different things.
1- how wide the cover is. The side to side measurement.
2-. If the clamps have enough adjustability to allow the topper to sit on a 3/16 plate without issue.

Which version of the Truxedo? I have the LowPro. I can snap some photos tonight if nobody else chimes in.

    Hi all,

To piggyback on the original question, would it be possible for anyone to measure the height from the truck bed floor to the cover when it's closed on the TruxPort or Access Limited? Looking to buy a roll-up tonnau cover, and it looks like both of those would add an extra inch of height in the bed.

Could you measure the bed depth from bottom to the cover if you have a chance of the LowPro?

My part number is TRX-257001 from Real Trucks.

It doesn't really hang over the sides...approximately 62" wide. I have a bed mat and it 19.5" from it to the top of the cover.

Thanks! This is just what I was looking for. I think I'm going to pull the trigger on this, i was waiting to see for sure if it increased the overall bed depth. I have a few cases that are just at 19" tall that would be a pain to replace.

There are 3 support bars that are lower than 19.5", but there well spaced apart.
