Anyone with an Apogee Offroad rear bumper towing a trailer? Can't find a hitch that fits.

I love the AO rear bumper but their QC needs a tiny bit of help. The 2" receiver hole they punch through the center of the bumper has slightly rounded corners and because it is *exactly* two inches across, those corners prevent most of the hitch sliders from fitting in, just barely. I might be able to take a file and file the corners down if I wanted to spend a month or two at it...

The sliders that DO fit show the next problem. AO put the hitch pin hole way too far to the front, which means you need to find a super long slider not only to be able to fit the pin through, but also because that area is sunken into the bumper for a license plate where the receiver hole is located. This means you would have to drop the tire and toss it into the back of the truck or trailer.

So Frustrating! I will end up having to have a custom slider made locally so I don't have to drop the spare every time I want to tow something and also so the hitch pin holes line up properly.

Not gonna hold my breath but wondering if anyone has been through this and happened to find a slider that actually works with this bumper?

Unless I'm blind, I dont see any rating on both the website and the pdf for this bumper.

I wouldn't tow with it. If something comes up, your insurance won't be happy.
