    LOL @ magnuson moss

People toss around the magnuson moss act like a warm blanket but few are willing to invest the time and energy ( and sometimes money ) involved in seeing an Express Warranty Breach all the way.

Headunit price was approx 1600$ the remote start the dealer installed, and the led lights i installed, but no splicing into a factory harness or anything (by me). My teleconference is end of next week with toyota rep and arbitrator. I will follow up then. I was just hopeing to get some numbers on issues with radio so i can say its not just me.

I would advise NOT to use arbitration as it is done using the NCDS. Ask for another arbitrator ( American Arbitration Association ) AAA. They are a truely neutral party and not paid by Toyota. It's your right.
Also you can't go into arbitration with just claims, speculation and arguements. Get ahold of a lawyer and see what they say. Bet they are in agreement. People talk about going to arbitration frequently but rarely gauge the actual repercussions as it's a FINAL judgement. You probably still can go to court but a ruling against you in arbitration does not look good to a judge.

Do your research and see how many people win a NCDS arbitration case....

Or don't take my advice but be sure to post the outcome!

Just a little info on the Magnusun act deal:

"Although car enthusiasts commonly believe that any modifications will void a warranty, the truth is a little less straightforward. In fact, a modification won't void a warranty unless an automaker or a dealer can prove that an aftermarket part caused the need for repairs."

I would think trying to prove a good customer caused the problem that the dealer was able to remedy with a new part from another truck, would be more expensive than an actual new heard unit...

I am familiar with magnusson moss, as im in canada there are some slightly different rules and paths i must take. As we also do not have lemon laws which as a consumer sucks.
