Rear spring TSB, Fumoto Valve, No A/C on defrost mod., tailgate theft mod.

Right now I am on a turn that runs from what is called Bailey yard in North Platte Nebraska. Also known as the "largest railroad yard in the world." I take the train to the last stop before it goes to the coal mine. I have never cared for extra boards so I stay on turns when I can.

I love using the RCO's but don't like how they came about. They were forced upon us (before my time) and many people lost jobs and senority. As someone else here said it is every little boy's dream...Railroad sets and also remote controls.

I was RCO qualified but my card is long since expired. I have a friend that works out of South Morrill.

Having the seniority to hold a somewhat predictable xtra-board works for me, kids are grown, no wife and no pets....Our road turns suck since the new HOS laws......they added a day between turns so instead of getting 3 1/2 day together we now get almost 1 day and then a day and 1/2.

Our other xtra boards are unpredictible and they are all combo road/yard boards.....but the 14 day move lets me take a job for 2 weeks if I need time off and then bounce right back.

We have no RCO's on our end, we are the terminiation and origination point from Boston to Albany......our AFHT in Selkirk is a different story tho.
