Does the shift boot snap/clip into this knob the same as it does the factory knob?

I installed @oostroma's faux TRD pro shift knob with the LED and MESO's stealth switches.

Soooo, i'm sort of in the industry so had a cyclic lying around. Had to retro the hell out of it to make it into a stick. However, if you search around, there are companies that sell them. Bug Eye Technologies sell them for around $160 I believe. Not too bad.

If you have the buttons on that shift knob I have a MESO stealth wire harness less the TRD Pro shift knob micro-switches that would work with it.

Not as unusual as some but I’m sure as shit not dropping 200 dollars on a shift knob. This is from a late model Lexus and is direct fit takes about two minutes to make the change. I got this from eBay for less than 20 dollars.

    oh ok.
I thought they were adding momentary buttons to compete against the MESO stealth shift knob and TacoGarage billet aluminum shift knob with button on top.

Not the one I have. I did get in a while ago so it could be a option now that I didn't see. Mine is just a slab of material
