I bought my 2004 3.4L in 2016 w/ 120k miles and it has about 230k now. I paid a shop to replace a head gasket when I first bought it....since then I've done all the work myself on it with no major problems, although I may be burning a bit of oil recently, or have a slow leak I can't identify from where just yet(I end up topping off the oil once or twice between oil changes).

I've replaced spark plugs, wires, and one ignition coil, brakes and rotors, routine oil changes, and a coolant flush recently that seemed to clear up some weird gurgling noises (the coolant was pretty low by time I noticed, and was very dirty)....truck never over heated tho, and seems to be running fine.

I have no idea when the last time the timing belt was changed, and I haven't done it myself and have put 110k on the truck...so I figured it prob will be time soon.

What else should I go ahead and do along with the timing belt? I'll be attempting all of these on my own.

If I remember right, thermostat and water pump, while you're already in there.

You can buy the whole toyota kit with the idlers and belt and WP and tensioner and cam/crank seals.

Where's the coolant going? If you can't find any external leaks it kinda sounds like a head gasket

Buy the complete set from "aircabinman". Do a search in this forum for details. And you'll need a torque wrench that will handle at least 250 foot-pounds (or more, check the torque spec) to torque the crankshaft pulley bolt, and maybe a $15 seal remover.

You said dirty coolant, like black/residue in the coolant overflow tank? Losing oil/coolant with no identifiable leak, gurgling coolant, that’s typical of a head gasket failure, black is from oil/gases getting into the coolant passage. Might try a leak down test.
