Got Frankfurters and currywurst while on a long layover in Frankfurt last December. So damn good.

Probably picking up some Hebes and bockwurst for camping this weekend.

Was going to grab some fresh dogs, but the market I stopped by had duck sausages, so I just had to try them. Super juicy, and super delicious.

the only hotdogs i eat now are the random Costco version, in a moment of weakness and hunger.

last time i sought out a dog joint is when i drive thru Tuscon. i will stop and get one of the Sonoran dogs, or two. i hate myself the rest of the way to texas. :D

I remember when they were 5 for $5. Didn’t feel good later in the day but made for a filling lunch on the cheap.

I don't get the cheese, just the regular.. But like to go to the Casper's on Telegraph Ave, Foothill is often more convenient when driving that wat, and of course I also like to pay homage at the C St. spot when i have time to drive around the Loop. It's actually amazing that they are still in business.

The cheese just makes it different. My pub is on Main and B St. so I've been known to walk over for a dog before, during or after drinking. Though the 90 year old mean old ladies who worked there and got pissed off if you didn't know how to order have retired. Other than that and the prices, it's still the same.

it's a 'regular' at Casper's. i got this one one at C St. in Hayward (this is the one i went to as a teen), but Telegraph in Oakland is my fave location, and Foothill Blvd in Hayward is just so convenient.
