So we are headed up to OK4wd to grab some stuff, then to Mainline overland to grab a Four Wheel Camper on Weds (pick stuff up thursday) from Florida.

After the install on thursday, we are headed to Philly, then sleeping somewhere on the way to DC where we will be camping for friday night. Does anyone know any closeby ish stuff to explore in that area?

You could go to the pine barrens in south jersey pretty easily on that route.

Hit Washington/Jefferson Forest on the way up. Just a short detour off 95. There are also some trails that are at the base of the shenandoah mountains in that part of VA. then you can take 81 north to the PA turnpike. about 3 hours gets you into Philly.

On the way up 81, there's also Michaux state forest, with about 75 miles or so that can be explored now that it's in season. There's a loop you can take off piney mountain ridge road.

Most PA state gamelands have a good network of gravel roads and are accesible to the public.

Pinelands in NY, Wharton state forest is pretty nice.

That's really about it. Not much else around here.
