Used sendcutsend several times since I discover them.

Highly recommend them qnd they now have the ability to bend parts as well with some limitations on number of bends pernpart

Anymore I have had horrid results with most of the shippers once the product has been entered into the system.

I could not see doing anything critical that I can`t pick up and deliver myself.

maybe parts for stock or long term projects that running out is not an issue.

Nothing i do is critical so this works great. Even faster than my local laser cutters. Not to mention my local guys tried to charge me 4x the price I paid for these. Even though I don't do alot of parts, they won't be getting my business anymore.

This is what those pieces are for. Low profile bump stops. Still need weld and paint.

Making progress on the skid, but not quite done. Unfortunately don't have time for two more weeks to finish. Also didn't feel like putting it back on and it getting all rusty again from being unpainted, so the 4runner is going naked for now

Messed up the hole for the oil drain, thankfully i could just hot glue it back in and try again

And added the braces, nothing fancy, just fit what I could around the diff and oil pan

Not perfect, but I am getting better at rounding corners.

Walked outta Ace Hardware, and what do ya know, another old man tan 4runner parked right next to me

BTW these "impact rated milwaukee" drill tap thingies aren't really impact rated lol. Tapping my stripped m8 weld nuts for m10 I was using a smaller and older 12v impact (read low power) and backing off very frequently to clear chips, and it still broke off on me. thankfully was able to get the chunk out in one piece with some vice grips. It was most of the way through, so I was able to use whatever was left of the tap thingy to finish tapping the holes

Was the hole for the most part predrilled to the starting bit size? Wondered if that would make a difference.

For the tap thingies? Hole was already drilled and tapped for m8, but they got boogered up when my stock skids got snagged on something. The drill taps have a drill section on the front portion of them, so the hole was properly sized by the time the thread tapping section engages. Actualy thickness to the tapped area was less than 1/4" that they're rated for, so I dunno if they just got caught weird or what

When it broke, I hit it with a needle scaler to try and disintegrate it out of the hole. That loosened it up but didn't break it. The I just turned it out with vice grips

I know they say impact, but I can't imagine them not breaking with an impact.

This lol. In that case where you were chasing threads I think you would have been better doing it by hand. In this case you risk cross threading which could snag and break. Drilling and tapping is such a delicate process, never even seen anything impact rated.

Yeah I was skeptical of that too lol, but I hate tapping holes upside down and was hoping they would be a good solution. I was using an older and weaker 12v impact, no where near the power of any current 12v milwaukee tools, I was bummed when it broke. Wasn't like I was just ugga dugga plowing it in, I went back and forth to clear chips, but oh well

Made some progress this weekend and got the rear axle welded up. Took the rear brakes apart and got the old axle out. Next is stripping the leafs and installing the trussed axle for cycling.

The truss prior to fitment. [IMG]
