Hahaha that would be dope so you can run your work remotely instead of at the computer. I have a MacBook that I do all my F360 stuff on and then I just transfer everything with a usb over to the crappy desk top in the shop. It’s close enough to the table that I just sit in a chair and click the buttons and watch and then move things around when it’s time to put more material on the table

One of my cad programs has a template for spare tire mounts. You just input the # of lugs, lug spacing, and overall plate diameter and it does the rest. If you need give me those specs and I can email you a dxf file

    That's very kind of you.

I'm paying these jag offs at F360 to learn this program, so it's kind of person to me that I learn to do these "simple" things.

I've been stuck doing shit around the yard, so I haven't had a chance to test my theory that I listed above.

I'm having a good time learning the program, just not happy with myself on how long this shit takes to learn.

I'm used to judging my days on how much work I get out the door, not something that can't be measured.

I really need to learn to slow down.

Should be able to draw 1 hole where you want it then use the circular pattern tool for the others 4 holes. Turn the 3 you don't want into construction lines so they don't get cut.

Figured I'd jump in the thread. I'm still learning but am decently happy how these shock relocation mounts turned out. 20210708_121544.jpg

This is what I was looking for. I understood doing circ patron, just couldn't figure out how to make the other unless holes not get cut.

    I forgot about construction lines.

    Thanks!

Since we are on overtime. I will probably only have time to get the steel needed and maybe do some of the prep work before we go back to work. Really wish the local steelyard was ipen on weekends.

Your welds are way better than mine. Lol. But the Archive 2.0 trail kit is affordable and offers as much travel if your not high speed running your truck.

Do it, they’re awesome towers. So easy to locate too with the bolts up top.

Edit: one word of advice though, I would unbolt the e brake cable from the leaf pack. It’ll get crazy tight during articulation. If they’re worried about it rubbing on the leafs, hose clamping some rubber hose around the cable in that spot protects it from wearing out.
