Haha! They still work perfectly. Technology changes so damn fast that it makes it seem old school lol. I should have said the original IPod lol

Me thinks it’s just a misinterpretation of tone via text on a screen and no one is actually upset.

I still have mine. Permanent music duty in the truck. I upgraded the battery and swapped memory to a solid state 267 gigabytes. It was originally a 60 gig unit (the highest they made at the time).

I have a Hobart 140 and a 30amp outlet in my garage. I am not welding as much as others here, but I have done some. Ive watched alot of youtube, and practiced on some scrap metal that people have given me. Its fun.

I have a HF hood, and some nice Miller gloves that I got on impulse.

I also haven't used it in a year, but its there if i need it. I don't feel that bad for not using it

Which Harbor Freight hood are you using? I used this one for a little bit, and realized I couldn't see very well out of it: . I switched to just a cheapie fixed shade helmet. I ended up liking it much better, I could see much more, and my welding improved. The HF hood everything was just dull/faded and all I saw was arc and no metal.

The vulcan helmet I hear is pretty good, so if you have that one, should be alright

I have that one that you linked. Either i turned the shade down so I could see, or I have extremely good eyes..

I do need to upgrade to anything else haha

Thats good, as long as you can see well. Possibly I got a dud too. It helped me immensely once I could see what I was doing.

I got the yeswelder hood based on a few suggestions here. I originally got it as a backup to my older Miller hood but I liked it so much it took first position.

That's what I have. I'm on a seconds head strap adjuster, and this one barely works, but I like the auto on/off
