Bolts are loose here to slide it over and adjust.

Sitting at the lowest setting for this 31+/- spare. 33 will take its place and the bracket has all the room for adjustment.

Remains to be seen I bought the tires and wheels the rest came along
    You do nice work!

I like the fact the tire is supported by the bed.

Also, very nice looking welds. I wish I had the skill (or patience!) to make welds like that!

All it takes is an understanding of what your looking at then make it happen on a constant basis.

Arc time to sharpen the muscle memory!

    Thanks!

I'm my biggest critic and I was telling myself it could've been better; still strong as heck though!

Awesome! Damn shame it's gonna be covered by a spare. Maybe it will be visible through the rim.

You need to have some decals made up to give with the parts you produce.

Can confirm. They're so handy to have, too, I use ours all the time. It's the little "cricut air" thats only four or five inches wide but you can do really long rolls of stuff.

Broke down and picked up this little unit today.

    20230206_143224.jpg

going to have to jump through hoops to get my cylinder swapped out. local welding shop would not touch it, falsely claiming the company on the neck ring was still in business and was based in oregon, Nice to see there google skills are good.. the company was based in rockford Illinois, and was bought by airgas 8 years ago. the tank is customer owned an has been since I was born.

So I had to drive halfway across town, to airgas, an try to swap it out for a tank of C25, nope they no longer swap gases so I had to get a tank of Oxygen. ok so swap it out and make sure the neck is slick. So now I have a 250cf of oxygen which I hardly ever use. but, local welding shop I first stopped by will swap gasses long as it is customer owned tank.

But I am kinda thinking of swapping out my 125cf oxygen instead, and get the acetylene filled at the same time.

    Sucks about the oxygen.

My LWS even took in a 19-year past expiration bottle (that I got free from a friend) that I exchanged and I only got charged a hydro test fee on top of the exchange cost.

Cheap way to add another bottle to my account.

Speaking Greek to me, will need to research that later.

    Completely new to anything decal-related.

Couple practice beads with the new welder in 1/8" mild steel.

    20230207_162544.jpg

bottom was the first one , started off badly on the right , and started smoothing out to the left. above that is the second bead and above that is a butt joint.

    20230207_162550.jpg

tweaking the wire speed just a a touch, and relearning how to lay a straight bead. bottom one got a bit wonky

    20230207_162601.jpg

A little better view of the butt joint, after I started I just pushed the nozzle in a straight line, mainl;y wanted to just follow the gap between the two pieces

    20230207_162613.jpg

    Back side of the plate.
