How are you sharpening your tungsten? Maybe the direction you are sharpening the tungsten is throwing it off.

Thanks everyone. It has been a long time since I used to weld. And then it was mostly stick. Very little MIG. I wonder how bad my welds will look. hahaha.

If you rent the bottle for enough years can you eventually keep it? Like a rent to own type of deal

    Look at build!
Damn, Praxair is getting me for $75/yr and $60 to swap it... Going to see what Airgas can do for me, so far they have beat Praxairs prices

That could be it, I had a coworker with the miller counterpart and his works fine with the same sharpening method....

C25 is what you will ask for when using single shield wire. Like others have said its 75 argon/25 CO2. personally I bought my bottle, it's cheaper that way in the long run if you plan on keeping your bottle for awhile

I paid about $200 for a 125 full and have owned it for a couple of years. For me, it makes more sense to own.

i paid 300 for 160cf 75/25 at airgas i OWN the tank.. 58 bucks for refill or a can just exchange it...

Praxair doesnt deal with small people here only big accounts. Hell they will not even fill a tank if its not there's. Why airgas and a local welding shop(local) get all my business..

Buy the largest bottle you and afford it will pay for it self in the long run. I Run 348cf bottles of 90/10 on my machines I Hate Swapping bottles So I Bought The largest ones you can buy. I own all my bottles renting is not worth it if you plan on keeping the bottle on the machine.

    On another note!

When I first started welding I thought why buy a table when you could build one and i have built quite a few. My oldest table is due for a replacement and with the added production needs and to be able to create fixtures to mass produce on the fly. I bit the bullet and ordered a 4' x 8' Build Pro Max welding table and 172 piece fix turning kit. Once I get it I'll let you guys know how bad ass it is. I know it's not something every welder could ever have with the high price tag but it should be good to watch

Here is a little video of the standard build pro the max just has the panels butted together and 33% more holes to mount to. And is more money
