Imagine, for a moment... utter blackness, instantly vaporized water, a wicked arc flash, and the knowledge that YOU are diving IN the very water that you are welding. It can be quite a shocking experience if you're not careful!

It's an 89 Toyota Pickup. I got some stuff done to it.. FJ axles going under it soon.
What's a good mig welder to buy as my first one?

I used to work in a precision sheet metal shop, I did mostly shipping/recieving work..but also did misc projects when they needed me.

I have alot of gas and stick welding practice from high school and buddies houses(I'm friends with rednecks, they all have a stick welder lol), and some practice with mig..not the best but it gets the job done.

I just want to own one myself...I need something for general purpose use...will tack up thin gauge but also lay beads on thicker gauge stuff without sweating it..

Interesting! Is it possible to weld these on the inside of the frame to "box" it?

No they are not big enough to box the frame that will be my next rear end mod.

Thinking I may pick up that 375 extreme plasma cutter this weekend. My dealer has them for $1100 and change. I could really put that to use.
