Yes it will do just fine.I weld exhaust, and EMT conduit which is thinner than exhaust pipe all the time . If its just a pin hole all you need is a few tacks any ways. You shouldn't be on it long enough to blow through. And if you do just let it cool and fill it in. No big deal.

As long as the color works for you!

Cart looks good, but is the grinder a bit high?

Nice looking cart. Not something I'd have thought about for the grinder. Let us know how that works.

I just use the bench grinder for sharpening tungsten. It sits up a little higher than most stands but I can't stand wearing a face shied and having my chin to my chest. Fabbed it to be just below eye level for me.

    Cheers

What? You're not using one of those fancy shmancy $300 sharpeners :D

Just kidding. Sounds like the perfect reason for doing it that way.

A dremel works great as a sharpener, I'll take a pic of the one I use, super simple, but works well.

Bw s256 turbo with 3 in glass pack dumped pre axle raptor liner bed and top rails and fenderflares and rocker panels. Hunter side steps. Plasti-dipped upper fenders and emblems. satin black spray paint here and there inside and out. 5100's set to 1.75" up front . C channel front bumper. Maxxis bighorn 255/85/16
Alright so technically not welding yet but here is the start of my 4" c channel bumper. Found the center, went 18" on each side of center and cut a 30° notch and bent. Ill do a 60° notch roughly 22" on down from the bend to get me straight back and line up with my fender. Also, ill 45 the ends to match up with the fender.[IMG][IMG]
