Stick in and all the way out took me under a hour on 2" sch 120. 6" pipe took about 3 hrs. Same pipes but tig root and hot pass and 7018 cap took about the same. What kinda pipe and material?

Never heard of a test costing per hour. Here you can get a cert for 300 per test.

Miller has a more comfortable head gear, I have a lincoln and like it though. I added another sweatband to the back park of the head gear and it's nice and comfy :D

This too, is stainless necessary, or just looks/lasts longer. What material is stock? Looking to do a reroute and wondering if I have the capability with my Miller 180. No bender, so I might need to find some pre-done elbows to connect together.

SS isn't necessary, stock isn't. The Miller will do it, I did mine with. 030, would be easier with. 023 though.

Good deal, did you have a bender? What size/thickness tubing?

No bender, I just cut it right behind the muffler then used the excess to get it angled right.

They are stainless sanitary fittings for resturaunts, food production etc. Sadly most of what I do is on a rotator and all the welds get polished away. I only post the free hand stuff.. These were filling rods so I assume they come off a main tube to bottles or something similar to fill with liquid.. theyre super tiny.. its all 1/16 tungsten and filler. Those tubes are 1/2" diameter  pretty fun to play with stainless though! Got a few personal projects lined up to get a lot more time under the hood

I'm on my second welding project so I'd like some feedback on my welds. This looks good to me, any suggestions for improvement?

Clean your starts and stops, get them to flow together vice piling up, and turn your heat up or dwell longer on your weave...There is some undercut

So the undercut is probably due to not dwelling long enough on the edges, or the heat not being hot enough, correct?

I didn't know that I should be cleaning the start/stop before continuing with the next bead. I'll give that a shot.

    Thanks for the feedback.

Yes those are reasons for the undercut.

Always a good practice to use, if you lift the torch clean the weld.

And no problems, that's what the forums are for.

    This too

Do you have another welder that can watch you? If you do, they should be able to tell you if it's heat or technique, or a combination of both.
