Do a little research into Raw Power Some of this equipment does not play well with low end generators

Track Down the Thermal Dynamics Rep in your part of the world Ask them.

Up here the Thermal Dynamics Reps turn over so fast I can`t keep track

You want to be real careful your much better off working part time for someone local until you get a better understanding of the business end . If your wallet allows you to replace anything you might be welding near or on Far to many Lawyers with nothing to do.

Just look into Liability Insurance to get an idea

I'd say not bad for an amateur :welder:
YES, there's always room for improvement.

Those look great! especially for welding upside down.

Would you have been able to make as nice of welds with a TIG unit?

Never tried TIG in my life.
Yeah, laying on the floor and weld, that's something else. A challenge for me.

What's the difference between the Miller MIG 140 and the Millermatic 140? Haven't been able to find any results from searches. I've found a new MIG 140 for $400 and a Millermatic for $600 - I am curious if there are features that would justify the $200 premium for the Millermatic...

It was just a difference in how things were worded!!

As for price depends who is selling

    Maybe a Miller knock off

It could be a MW-140 plus that Miller made for Mac Tools which would be sold new only through a Mac Tools dealer

Know the Millermatic 140 is discontinued so if it is new it is old stock

Unless it was a Maxstar 140 which has been out of production far longer

Yeah apparently there's lots of knock offs made out of Harbor Freight welders in my area. Thanks for the response - I got another one in another thread confirming some of them I'm looking at are knockoffs.

Progress on the rack. All is completed now except for the rear door/window. Painted completed and should be mounted next week after the Raptor Liner cures.
