They look like a good table. Been wanting a 3d table. Thanks

For the price, it’s great. It’ll be all I need. It’s a good welding table in general and then it’ll be good for little fixtures and jigs that I need every once in a while.

You talking about the “Fab block” that has the sides too? That’s a badass looking table!

@Martyinco has the fabBlock model and says he loves it

I just sold my 5x10 steel top and 4x8 acorn table to fund a 3D. Yes I was looking at the fab block. Need to read some more on it and make sure it will accept my tooling.

Wow those are a couple of big tables. My garage is small so a couple of the smaller tables put together to make a 3x6 is perfect for me

Our pipe shop got a couple fabblock (well probably a different brand but same concept) tables a couple years ago. So nice. Theirs are pretty big though. Ones like 10'x20' a 10'x10' and a like 15'x30'. Then they got some smaller sort of "cubes" and rectangles so they can build vertically too. The cubes/rectangles just get moved around the table and clamp down. Pretty interesting to go down one day and see a piping run all laid out ready to weld then come back the next day and something totally different.

Yeah dude. Those types of fixture tables are pretty rad! Those are some huge tables haha! The cubes are a good idea. You can butt up to them for a stopper and also use it as a right angle and so on. Very cool.

Yes they are! Makes fitup a lot easier too for them. This is in the Nuclear side of the pipe shop and a lot of the piping runs have been 3-d mapped with a Ferro Arm device so it helps them a ton being able to clamp down everything and make sure its not walking around or anything

Would anyone here be able to tell me what a fair quote might be to install the Total Chaos Cam Tab gusset kit on my 2013 Tacoma? TIA!

Yeah for sure. I used to work at my uncles aerospce shop and my cousin and I did all the composite work and we used a Faro Arm a lot for our molds and crap like that.

Well the old cams need to be removed, paint removed, TC cams cleaned, etc. Doing the grunt prep work will reduce costs. Shouldn't cost more than $100 for just the welding, it's like 20 mins of trigger time (if even).

Also, make sure you buy new cam bolts. They're spendy.

First shop I inquired wants $500 for the whole job. I thought that was crazy.

These the bolts? Says one per wheel; I'm guess one kit per wheel?

    $500 is a ridiculous amount

those if you want aftermarket ones. 2 kits needed. or get new toyota sets. honestly depends if yours are frozen in the bushings or not. if they are the lca is easier to just replace. (hence why i just went LT)

Yeah, that's high. Prop it up in your garage, prep it, have a mobile welder stop by and burn them in ($120/hr in my area).

Two sets of those bolts yes. I picked mine up from the dealership.

I bought a hobart handler mig welder, 120 volt ac, welds up to 5/16 mild steel. If you go with a mig unit get the shielding gas argon co2 your welds will look pretty good with just a little practice. There are alsomany good youtube videos on basic welding. Good luck
