I barely clean. No real point. Five minutes into a project and shit is all over the place again.

    Bumper build progressing slowly.
Disregard the scrap under the table and all the shit on top of it. And yes my primary cleaning method is shoving shit together to make room.

check the most popular manufacturers websites and see if they're having sales. I know Eastwood gives 20% off to first buyers.

Welded for the first time today, something I've been wanting to get into for a while. Snuck into my grandfather's shop while he is gone on a trip and used his welder. Never been taught just watched a lot of YouTube videos. Here's my results
I started out holding the gun right handed because it felt more natural holding it, but it wasn't going so well so I switched to my left hand because I write left hand so I thought it might be a bit more natural movement even though it felt goofy holding it. These were my first 5 beads.
    20181122_145025.jpg
I flipped it over and laid a few more flat beads.
20181122_145247.jpg Then I wanted to try and weld 2 pieces together. I prepped the bottom of this piece a little bit so I wasn't as rusty as the rest. Then just welded the back side for the hell of it without preppingthe metal.
    Front 20181122_144628.jpg backside
    20181122_144542.jpg
After this I welded 2 going downhill at roughly 45 degree slope and one with it straight up.
Overall I'm pretty happy with how it went for my first time. Any feedback would be greatly appreciated!

Not bad at all especially for your first time. Those welds will definitely hold some stuff together

So in essence the cleaning time is factored into the price of the products being sold.

Before my Divorce put the halt to Fabricating full time clean up time was factored into the jobs.

Now being only me I adhere to if it is a flat surface things seem to pile up.

Working 10 and 12 hour days telling people to read the owners manual the home projects are slowing down

First picture is a friends diy moonshine distille keg. He did the fit up. I just welded it. Second picture is my son getting some tig welding in. He has a interview next week at a aerospace company as a welder.
