I'm looking for someone to do some welding this weekend in Vacaville CA, needing some gussets welded up while I have the front suspension off. I can pay some cash money on top of the usual beer fund if you can drive to my house to do the welding (welder also needed).

I'm taking a sculpture class this year in college and wanted to get some ideas on what I should make this semester. Last year I made a dragon out of sheet steel all welded together. This will be made out of metal as well, if anyone has ideas let me know!

    Thanks

Thanks man! Love the fact i built my stuff, proud of it haha. All i can recomend when building your armor is take your time and build it how you want too. First bumper i built was me asking friends for opinions and resulting in a pile of crap haha the one i just put on was all me and i just put my head down under the hood and went to welding

I rolled out the first piece of tube with the new BAMF tube roller. This thing is awesome!!! I've still got to dial it in but it works like a champ. Who wants BAMF hoola hoops :D

Hoping to pick up a Hobart 210 or similar soon. Anyone have any suggestions for small 'projects' that would actually sell so I can help pay for my addictions?:D

Was thinking of making a pedal powered go-kart for my kid. Maybe something on that line? Shelves/racks? What else? :notsure:

sweet. I'll text you my email tomorrow or something. :)

Small trailers? They seem to sell well in most places.
Maybe make basic 'off-road' trailers, that have some clearance and meaty tires.

Quick question. I just ordered a magnaflow muffler and see that is 100% stainless steel. Will my muffler shop be able to weld the muffler to my regular steel pipes with no problem? is it going to be expensive? i am just under the empression that it is hard to do with a mig and thought tig welding it up might be expensive...honestly i dont know much so any info on this would be appreciated.

I like the idea, but I'm stuck in WI right now where there's no offroading to be found for several hours in any direction. :(
