    I'm excited. I always wanted a hybrid bumper and my plate bumper wings are mangled. That will be the first project, second might be fender tubes, and third might be somehow making a "hybrid" style high clearance rear bumper out of my standard Pelfrey.

    I have to confess. I have not welded anything in over a month. Need a 220 plug at my new house and I might start doing some side work.
    Been taking it easy since I got laid off, collecting unemployment for the first time in my life, and sleeping till 7. Life ain't so bad.

    And my 4" Mercury vise on a stand made from a caterpillar 883 cam and a Cat flywheel.

    Have you heard anything about this notcher. I really didn't research much. I just ordered it because it wasn't the lowest model and also wasn't the most expensive either, and it was convenient for this to be shipped with the bender.

    He used to work for a welding supply store but is now an accountant, lol. He said it hasn’t been used in 10 years. The date code is 2007. Still a sweet helmet! Just needs batteries.
