If you are cutting aluminum, get an aluminum spec blade.. It makes a big difference.

Yup i have a couple but also dont do much Aluminum work either. Espcially in cheap or softer Al. Same I have a AL file for if i need too.

In an ideal world would have all sorts of materials for the different stuff. AL, Stainless, brass, bronze, Copper, ect. But not many home guys are going to invest in all that.

I normally go shooting on Tuesday nights, but last night I stayed home and practiced running some beads with my little mig! I do much better when I look at the puddle and not look at the arc. I practiced running straight beads on a piece of sheet metal and then even got brave and welded a few nuts and washers to it. Got a long list of potential projects once I get decent!

Yes, same as the first one. (In that pic I was still missing the bottom ones, now all openings are capped)

I don't know if like your fab work or your mountain view more.

    Both are huge wins!

    I don`t

I think it is the fine State you live in.

Depends on the distributor if they can get away with it they will.

A small charge on every ticket adds up quick

    This is just a Vent!!

I got an Emergency call my Plasma Cutter is not cutting correct poor quality cuts.

The usual is your air dry?? Changed Consumables lately?? Your Sure you installed them correct ?

Turns out what I forgot and they did not tell me was they were well beyond the quality cut range of the machine in question and could not live with the severance cut quality for the job.

On the bright side the people in the shop were aware of the problem but the purse holders would not budge that they needed a higher output machine to make 2" cuts

Wow you re getting ripped! I pay $40 for a 135 bottle at my spot. It’s called Gardena Welding Supply

I don’t think it’s the state (even though California is stupid for certain reasons). I’m paying just a couple dollars more for 3 times bigger bottle to be filled and I only live less than 2 hours away from @Rakso
