Most likely chain driven remote controlled. This style of gate is good for heavy snow accumulations as well, since it only travels in a straight line.

But, yeah, made out of conduit, it should be easy to open even without an opener.

My hold up is those damn rollers. They get $80 each and I need 4.

Nice, a gate is in my list, I'll need one when I buy my travel trailer.

Does anybody know where can I find a 20X20 ft steel frame canopy? Like King Canopy type. I know Home Depot sells King Canopy ones but they only have an 18X20.

Used the fancy push-pull alum setup my work bought and no one has learned to operate haha. Super cool but this thing has so many settings I haven't even dialed in yet, frequency, pulse width, hot start, cool down, (couldn't get the back purge tube to stop purging).... but I got decent results welding 3/4 6061 with it for the first time.

    1125191139.jpg

Gonna need more practice for sure but it was nice for assembly line style work, preferable to TIG at least for this thick material.

Time to download your own copy of the users manuals.

    Just what do you Have.??

This stuff changes so fast between one generation and the next of the same model no wonder customers are confused .

    Hey Everyone,
here is a few things I created then 3d printed to help me with bending tube,

    1) Digital angle clamp, This one fits the digital angle readout I bought years ago when I thought I was going to get into woodworking.
its a simple clamp, self centering on the tube, and holds pretty tight.

    2) is a clamp to help me make straight lines on tube for cutting / bend marks. I bet some of you will shake your head at this, but I liked the challenge of the design, and it works quite well. Its snug enough to not fall off when you let go

    the result?

not bad! the bloody angle finder's battery died 3/4 of the way through the project so I had to revert to an old fashioned level ( which worked well.. )
    she's pretty flat too!

I asked our equipment manager for the manual today, he's going to find it later and let me borrow it since it's looking like I'm going to be slowly taking over fabrication duties at work. It's the three piece system from Miller, the AlumaPower 350MPa, the XR AlumaFeed, and the XR AlumaPro feed gun.

Can't do better than that for production aluminum welding. That's the Mack Daddy of Al welding rigs!

It really is a very nice machine, everything is super solid right down to the control knobs. Our Norco rep came in with his Miller guy to set it up and gave the last guy a mini how-to but the last guy was pretty adept with the TIG torch so he didn't have much interest. Can't say I'd be any different if I had his skill with TIG if I'm being honest. Not sure why work just decided to spend the money on this rig but since they knew I have low hours on TIG they pushed me to start taking on alum projects with this. They want it to get some use since they bought it already haha

It all depends on the type of jobs you get if you get much over 3/8" of bigger jobs TIG is so slow in getting the welding done.

It does seem tig welders have a hard time adjusting to Semi Automatic processes for some reason.

    Weird,
I can't seem to fix it...

I'd like to add that I fully plan on putting these things on Thingiverse.com for free, I also want to make one so you can use a regular old 6" level. When my electronic level died, I put the bubble level on top and was able to continue that way. I was surprised how easy it was to use the bubble level to keep the same plane of bend. heck, its got 0,90, 45 & 180 degrees built in, and the "display" is multi-directional. That was an annoying mistake I did with mine, I had it facing the wrong way, so I'd have to keep running back and forth checking the degrees

upper left: Pipe clamp open to show its hinged with recessed nut & bolt
upper Right: Digital angle finder in my 3d printed holder
lower left: the result of some bending ( thanks @Shmellmopwho )
lower right: Pipe clamp on pipe, nice snug fit, wont fall off, and allows you to make a perfect line all the way round your pipe
