Ouch! I'd put money on it being broke.

 

That'll feel good when it quits hurting!

 

Cause I need to go places further than where my welder can reach and friends told me about this before the concept of making my own. So far so good, but if it ever fails I guess I can make my own. Downside to that is if you have multiple machines you need to make multiple long cables. This was great when I had both the MIG and Stick.

 

hahaha yes I do remember that conversation. My feet have been hurting lately so I’ve been wearing my Vans Half Cabs with the “Comfy soles” a lot and just happened to eff up my toe. Sucks

I really thought it was on Tuesday when it happened but I’m not sure it is since I can move it now. It still hurts to walk on but I gotta keep moving haha

Just because you can move it, doesn't mean it isn't broken. It's probably fractured at the least. I've broken/fractured 3 fingers now and always been able to move them. If it is broken, they'll either just tell you to splint it or put you in a boot to immobilize it, so it will heal properly.

 

Yeah, it doesn’t feel good. It’s bearable but the pain definitely doesn’t feel great to walk on. I’ve broken my fair share of bones but never any of my fingers or toes.

 

just got a new angle grinder to help me along the way with my new welding venture...

Need to get some pads and wheels. What are some recommended must haves I should buy?

 

Just like Clamps one can never have enough grinders .

It is a Royal pain to keep changing between all the different things you might want to use .

It all depends just what type of things you find yourself getting into In Maine I do think rust might be a given.

I like the discs that remove rust but not any metal some things are thin enough already

Another thing if the grinder does not fit my hand it gets pawned off to the helpers

 

I love my cheap Porter Cable grinder. I need to pickup another one!

Benchmark abrasives on Amazon is great for grinder consumables. I have a slew of their flap discs, 4.5” and 6” cutting wheels

 

Nothing worse than a fat grinder that makes your hand hurt.

 

Mounted my intercooler today. Welded some 2" 3/16 thick angle iron between the frame rails. Also had to make a new brace for the hood latch support that I bolted to the top of the intercooler. Super simple setup but I'm happy with the results.

 

Not my jacket, again???? I just can’t have nice things.

The original hole was about 2 years ago about a month after I bought it. I got to remember to wear my leather apron.

 

hahhaha you’re on fire and the first thought is “lemme grab my phone to take a picture of myself on fire” instead of “holy crap I’m on fire gotta put this out!!!”

 

Hahahah, yeah, the first 10 times I set my clothes on fire my first thought was let me put it out, after a while you get used to it

 

Last time it was my pants while using the plasma cutter, they were only a few weeks old
