I have a 22 TRD Sport and for the past few months the front camera has been giving me issues and now doesn't seem to be working at all.

Read through the other threads and it seems most of them wired theirs incorrectly.

My front camera worked fine for the first year or so, but in the past few months it's become increasingly unreliable. During the winter I noticed it would take a while for the front camera image to display, sometimes up to 3 minutes. Once the camera finally did display, I could turn it on and off and it will reliably turn on until I restarted the truck after some time. On other days the front camera would work fine and turn on within 3 seconds.

For the past few fays the front camera won't turn on at all and I don't even hear the relay "clicking" anymore. Anyone know how I can fix this? I tried contacting the company but haven't gotten a response. Thanks!

I installed mine in Sept 23 and had the same problems. I reached out to Tacoma lifestyle for support and they gave me a phone number to call. I'll send it to you via PM, it was some guys number and I talked to him and explained my issues. He sent me a new wiring harness for the camera and the camera itself and told me it was likely the wiring harness that had gone bad and not the camera. It seemed like both of mine were bad since I tried all the combinations of new cable, old camera, new camera, and new cable. I ended up replacing the camera and wiring and now I'm good with no issues. Annoying but at least it was all free.

I've been having a similar issue. Just bought a new video harness hoping that was the issue, but didn't have any luck. I get back light to the switch, but no power to the switch. I'm hoping it's just the relay

I bought a new front camera and switched it out with the old one and it's working perfectly again. Camera pops up immediately when I hit the toggle switch. Didn't redo any of the wiring, just replaced the camera part.
