Anytime rear camera schematic?

Gadget at rear bumper to add towing camera or bed camera only. Still would require the Head Unit harness and AB camera switch. Ground and fused 12v tapped from towing connector or any other preferred method.

For the 2019+

 

If I'm understanding this correctly, the wire that activates the camera also activates the backup lights? Meaning that if I wanted to completely disconnect the camera, I would no longer have backup lights?

 

Where do you see that?

 

Oops! The diagrams were showing broken links. Misinterpreted the comments. I see what's going on now that the diagrams are loading.

 

This is an old thread but a lot of us are still using it for the info, so just FYI, there is a simple procedure to clear the maintenance required light yourself.
