No you need the battery connected or you won't have power anywhere.

So you have battery voltage there, that's good. What about from B+ to the other ground pin?

Will the B+ pin light a test light connected to ground and the 2 ground pins light a test light connected to battery positive?

Certainly would appear you have a bad ABS module then since that code is persistent, I'm still not fully convinced that is your braking problem though.
Did the original module have the exact same code and symptoms?

I mean unless there's a voltage drop on one of those wires that we're not seeing because we don't have enough load to put on them or there's a pin fitment issue I can't see a reason for it to be setting a low voltage code.

You don't happen to have an old headlight and pigtail laying around we can use to load the circuit do you?

I'm also stumped why you don't have good brakes with the module fuses pulled, what if you completely unplug the module?

I can't do any tests like that on mine because I jave the hydraulic booster.

I don’t have a headlight pig pigtail. Plenty of head lights just no pigtail. I have unplugged it once to take it a drive. My speed odometer didn’t work plus it through a engine light and I think some of my gauges didn’t work also. I was afraid I was going to mess something up so o stopped immediately and reattached it. Honestly don’t remember if I had good brakes or not.

You won't have a speedometer with it unplugged because it is responsible for providing the vehicle speed signal to everything and you will have other warning lights on but it won't hurt anything just to test drive it like that.

Ok. I’ll go try it and find out how good the brakes are.

Still no luck. I had to pump it 2 or 3 times to have a good pedal. That was with the fuses in and the unit unplugged and also the fuses out with it unplugged. I’m sure it didn’t make a difference with or without the fuses with it being unplugged but I thought I’d try it anyhow.

That would seem to me like you have air in the system or your rear brakes aren't adjusted properly.
How did this problem first come about?

I have bled the ABS unit at the unit itself 4 different times now. It seems to have no air coming out. It all started after hitting a big hole when I was on the brakes already and then the ABS shit kicked in like I was on a wet or snowy road. Then it seems like a day or 2 later then when it went haywire.

But did you bleed it at each wheel?

Honestly not since I changed the unit again yesterday evening.
