It took me a number of years and quite a bit of money to learn my lesson, but I learned. Now I am that middle aged man in the far right hand lane, murmuring to myself, everyone is in gawd damn hurry! lol

    Haaaaaa!

I say stuff like: “Look at these idiots, slow the fuck down!” It’s actually fun watching dudes rip it and then you slowly coast right beside them, feels soooo good. Haha.

What’s your door sticker payload rating, 950, 1000 pounds? Maybe 1100?
My payload is 1500 lbs. Basically my “light weight” 4 cylinder Access cab is rated to carry a bigger load in the bed and in cab than your truck. I’ve had 1000 lbs in it no problem with its 4.30 differential.

Redline custom leather shift and e-brake boot. VFTUNE Super Full Otto cycle, octane learning, premium fuel.
Place 4cyl tacoma on trailer behind tuned cummins equipped ram truck. Gently accelerate ram truck. You will be faster.

When I was 16 I was driving a small block V8. It made 135 HP when it was new, which meant it probably made about 100-ish when I had it. :anonymous: It didnt win any races, but any whale that seats about 20-something has its own ways of being fun.

Get a tune. Tunning NA 2.0L VWs used to be popular, I guess tuning the 2.0 made them faster, it's still a NA 2.0

Trade the Tacoma for a Porshe 718 GT4 RS.

Same here. I was on the interstate one saturday a few weeks back. Speed limit is 65 with some areas 55 mph. 90% of the cars are doing over 75 mph. Just for the hell of it, (i couldn't resist) i stepped on the go petal. I was doing 90 mph to keep up with half the traffic. Im getting to get the idea this the way some think their saving fuel by getting there sooner their using less gas.

No idea what happened or if any other vehicles were involved. I saw a 1st gen Tundra double cab, black wheels most likely lifted. In that nice blue color spun out in the rain, rear axle twisted up this morning.

I just love it when some idiot is flying past me 30mph over the speed limit, and then 6-7 miles down the road you see them pulled over with the cop filling out the ticket book...

    Welcome to the forum :hattip:

At 16 you have a 3 year old truck?? My first car was $100 and it had to be towed home, I got out, shut the door and enough rust fell off it made piles in the driveway...

If you take good care of your truck it will last 20 years easy -- slow down, use your head and you might make it to 20 also. Be smart -- even if your friends are dumb.
