Why don't you all just upload the .gpx file to the OP? This isn't a secret route by any means.

Planning to go this weekend. Mostly for camping with my son and hiking some trails. Can anyone point me to some cool spots to camp? Prefer to camp up against a canyon wall if possible. We've camped off coyote canyon trail a few years ago but didn't see much of the rest of the park. Wanna hike to fonts point and maybe hit the mud caves

I'd definitely camp somewhere in fish creek. It's beautiful and you can camp against a canyon wall like you want. I don't hike but I know there are some trails that you can hike up from there. Just google it and youll find coordinates/information.

If you end up taking this same route, There are 3 camping spots in Arroyo Secco Del Diablo. 1 right at the beginning of the canyon, and two more a little more into the canyon but that is where we ended up laying our heads for the night and it was great. The only problem is that although the mud caves are on the other side of the canyon in tapiado, fonts point is on the other side closer to fish creek. You could always run the route going through tapiado first and then doing the Diablo drop off though but I see you're 2WD so idk if that's something you're interested in lol
