Hey all, got an email today about this survey by State Parks. Not sure why we only hear about these things at the last minute, but this survey needs to be completed today Apr 7, 2021.

It includes questions on Cuyamaca State Park as well but the part for Anza Borrego is most relevant to most of us as they are proposing to "improve" primitive camping areas and charge $20/night per vehicle. Please respond.

Sounds like they only want the survey link to be completed by the person it was emailed to

Sorry, it worked for me when I cut and pasted it. :annoyed:

This is just for designated dispersed camping areas like Blair Valley. I imagine they would make it more like a campground which would be pretty easy to collect/enforce. Everywhere else would still be free dispersed camping as far as I can tell. Unfortunately this will just push #vanlifers and boondockers further out into other areas, so whatever issue they are hoping to solve will just migrate.

I was reading USFS is also looking at "improving" a number of areas like Corral Canyon near Lake Morena and make those campgrounds fee sites as well.
