    Hey guys!

So I recently purchased some Anzo tail lights for my 2003 Tacoma 3.4L 2wd.

Upon installation, I noticed a few things (Key turned to the ON position, hazards ON):
-Driver side works (sorta), and the reverse light comes on.
-Passenger side does not fully work. The brake light turns on, instead of normal running lights

When the engine is running (Lights are turned to the ON position, no hazards):
    -ABS light is on
-Left turning signal is dimly lit (very strange), when pressing the brake pedal it lights up fully

    Other info:
-Failed Taillight relay (replaced) after installation
-Replaced flasher relay just in case
    -I looked everywhere for a short...none
-OBD'ed to look up the ABS light codes... nothing
-Checked ALL fuses, relays, etc... they are all good

    Reason for new tail lights:
I noticed that my driver side's LED's were going out in my eBay-Cheapo aftermarket so I decided to replace them with (supposedly) great aftermarket tail lights.

I do plan to email the company to send out replacements, but if anyone has any similar issues/experiences please let me know just in case it's not the tail lights.

    Thanks!!!

Only thing that pops to mind is that you may have pinched a wire to ground somewhere. If you unplug them does everything else work normally?

Yes, everything works except for the tail lights. The P.S. light blinks the wrong light while the D.S. works fine, but D.S. also flashes the reverse light whilst hazards are on.

Sounds like the lights are the issue. Aftermarket taillights suck.

Its the tail lights , i bought some a few years ago had problems also. Put stock ones back in worked fine. They sent me new ones and that pair worked perfectly. My problems weren't as drastic as yours though

Double check your body ground. I've read where even injectors can even misfire with a bad ground.

If you didnt add a 6th pin that is more than likely your issue.

That’s true. @DashMaple the Anzio lights did not come with a 6th pin…but my old ones did. Could this be the issue??

Thank you all for your input and help! The issue still persists

95-2000 have the 5 pin plug, I just did my lights and they were plug and play but fitment I had to do a couple of tweaks. 01-04 have the 6 pin plug. I believe it is a ground or something like that needs to be added.

    UPDATE: FIXED

Thank you all that replied and with quick responses!

The issue was the 6th prong on the new tail light didn’t exist so I installed 1x prong/tail light. The YouTube video showed me how to do it properly. Everything works as it should no other issues.

    Thank you all again!

Okay guys, I am encountering a new problem. I believe it’s due to the wiring. I followed the video that was posted to the T!

    The problem is:
When cruise control is on, I hit my blinker to change lanes and the cruise control turns off (as if I hits the brakes). Anyone know why or how? I followed the wiring instructions, but still have this problem.

If anyone has anyone ideas please do inform. Thanks!!
